Dear Clients,
The Senate has approved Bill 2976 or the Anti-Cybercrime Bill of the Philippines. Below are the acts that are punishable by law:
A. Offenses againts the confidentiality, integrity and availability of computer data and systems
- Illegal Access
- Illegal Interception
- Data Interference
- System Interference
- Misuse of Devices
B. Computer-related Offences
- Computer-related Forgery
- Computer-related Fraud
C. Content-related Offenses
- Cybersex
- Child Pornography
- Unsolicited Commercial communications
Any person found guilty of any of the punishable acts shall be punished with imprisonment or a fine of atleast Two Hundred Thousand Pesos.
